RESEARCH, PUBLICATIONS, AND STUDENTS
- CURRENT
RESEARCH INTERESTS: My research interests are in approximation theory.
The recent work has been on multivariate approximation, most notably
approximation and interpolation by box splines, radial basis functions,
wavelets and multi-wavelets in shift invariant spaces. This often has
involved the construction of suitable wavelet or multiple-wavelet bases
that have desirable properties.
