William E. Boyce and Richard C. DiPrima
(This is a new edition. If you have the
8th Edition, the changes will be marked in the detailed outline.)
The hard copy at the book store for $142 or the online version for
$71. You may use WileyPLUS for
your own benefit or purchase the book any where they wish. This section will not require WileyPlus (we
will use WebWork instead, and have the grade book on webct). You may also use the 8th Edition, but make
it is the one with Boundary values Problems (Chapter 10).
Homework: 15%

The detailed outline
contains the course content, the homework assignments, and Exam
schedules. The detailed outline may change somewhat during the term if
circumstances warrant.
Homework:
There will be a mix of assigned homework from the text, some of
which may be required to turn in, and homework using the WebWork
System. The homework from the text is listed in the detailed outline
(some of these may become WebWork problems). The subset of
problems to be graded will be assigned by email with the due date.
